RoseEve is founded and owned by Anna-Maria Thain,   a mother to 4 gorgeous monsters aged 10,  7,  5,  and 1 years old with another due to make an appearance in July 2010.   In order to fit around family life RoseEve is a home based business that gets out and about at the weekend.  Anna is an Embroiderer who studied Design Crafts at Cumbria, after exhibiting her paintings and embroideries in galleries in Cumbria,  Anna returned to Darlington and had a baby break from all things arty.  Itchy fingers made her start dabbling again,  a course in dressmaking,  another in soap making and learning to knit all over again.  Anna also teaches sewing at the local Childrens Centre on a Thursday morning and is passing on the itchy fingers to new ladies every week. ( look out for their very own website in the favourite sites page. ) Anna chooses small projects that she knows she can finish and is hoping to expand the business when the children are at school and she has more time to commit to bigger projects and exhibitions.

RoseEve was conceived in May 2002 and was finally born in December 2005 at the Christingle Market in Darlington,  where lots of traditional Christmas decorations were sold,  and Anna got very cold and decided to put thermal underwear on her Christmas List,  something she never expected to do until she hit at least 60 years old.

RoseEve products are one or more of the following;  made locally,   handmade,  organic,  fairly traded or recycled.  Buying local,  recycling and organic produce are core to what RoseEve stands for.  Being handmade gives every product an individuality that mass produced items lack,  although some items for example the glass jars that the bath salts are contained in are mass produced because the cost to the customer is just as important as the product.  All RoseEve products are competitively priced and hopefully cheaper than alternatives.  This does not mean that RoseEve uses cheap suppliers,  all supliers are of the very best standard and some have won awards for their products.  Fair trading is also very important and RoseEve is constantly looking for suppliers that adhere to fair trading standards.

Products to date include Soaps,  Bathbombs,  Lavender and wheat cuddles,  Lavender and Lavender/Rose Bags,  Pot-Pourri,  Bath Salts,   Fleecey Blankets,  Fleecey hats,   Fragrance Oils,  Gift packs,  Embroidered pictures,  Blankets,  and Wall Hangings.
