Why RoseEve?

Anna often gets asked why she chose the name RoseEve for her business,  and the explanation is not the one you were expecting.  Discovering she was pregnant,  Anna took a little while to come to terms with the prospect as she had only just finished college, and coming back to Darlington was supposed to the beginning of a career.  Excitement turned to grief though as the baby girl had anencephaly which is a fatal form of spina bifida that affects the top of the spinal cord and usually part of the skull.  Eve was born dead in October 1998,  and in January 2004  Anna lost Rose to anencephaly,  apparently the midwives had never known anyone to lose 2 children this way.  Still thinking of the 2 girls that never got a chance RoseEve is both therapy for Anna and a celebration of life,  life that you have to live every day because some of us are not so lucky to be given the chance.
